Lisa Sulka

Lisa Sulka has called the Bluffton – Hilton Head Island area home for 36 years. Born and raised in Prosperity, South Carolina, a small southern town just outside of Columbia, she finished her higher education at Clemson University. After college, Lisa moved to Hilton Head Island and started her own business which she owned for 15 years. This business venture led to her relationship with Hampton Hall, where she was part of the original sales team. Lisa is currently working with Carson Realty, a full service real estate firm in Bluffton SC and has been in the real estate industry since the early 1980’s.
A Bluffton resident for 24 years, she and her husband, John, enjoy spending time with their three children: Two daughters - Brannon and Haley, graduates of Clemson University; and a son Michael, a graduate of Auburn University. Favorite family outings include waterskiing, tubing, crabbing and shrimping or just sitting on the sandbar on the beautiful, pristine May River. “A love for the May River is why we call Bluffton home and always will, as it is an integral part of our culture and lifestyle”
Lisa is also the Mayor of Bluffton, serving her third term, and formerly a town council representative. Lisa is involved with many boards and commissions, including an Honorary Trustee of the Board of Trustees of the Heritage Classic Foundation, chairman of the Metropolitan Planning Organization for the region; vice chair of the Southern Regional Plan, and past chair of the SC Mayors Association. Lisa is a graduate of the Riley Institute for Diversity and is actively involved with the Bluffton Boys & Girls Club and Lowcountry Crusaders (a nonprofit focused on mentoring Bluffton’s youth), Molding Men of Bluffton, and IPTAY’s County Chairman (Clemson University’s Booster Club).
Professionally, Lisa was a top producer for the developers of Hampton Hall and Hampton Pointe. She is a top producer for Carson Realty, consistently ranked as a top Sales Team in the Bluffton/Hilton Head area in overall sales. Her focus is on real estate in the Bluffton and Hilton Head area and she has in depth knowledge of both.
